Split screen divides one frame into separate regions, each with its own view. It makes before-and-after states, options, or simultaneous actions easy to compare at a glance.
Place each view on its own layer and set the boundary between them. The demo moves a center divider left and right to change the balance between two abstract charts.
Unlike PIP, neither view floats on top of the other; each gets its own space. Align scale, timing, and axes when possible, or viewers may misread the difference.
When to use
Use it for a before-and-after comparison or two concurrent views. Keep the comparison basis consistent and place the divider away from important content.
