It is like a brief glare washing out the image before your sight returns on the next shot. It can suggest a bright memory or a hazy change.

Raise exposure or a white overlay until it fills the frame, then reveal the next shot from white. Adjust the keyframe spacing to control how long the image holds in the light.

Unlike a flash frame, which is only a one- or two-frame burst, this transition moves into and out of white over time. Use a flash frame when you only need a quick flicker.

When to use

Use it sparingly for a bright memory or a moment of fading awareness. Check that the white transition does not erase detail in a bright shot.
