Walking with a camera in your hands leaves tiny movements that never quite settle. The image shifts briefly, giving the viewer a close, human-height point of view.

Hold the camera while filming, or animate small, irregular position and rotation changes on the whole scene layer. Moving the image together helps suggest a handheld camera.

More shake does not automatically look more real. Unlike a gimbal or Steadicam move, small variations are the point; keep text and dialogue readable.

When to use

Use it for an on-the-ground documentary feel or a tense point of view. Reduce shake when viewers need to read interface details or captions.
